Important Update for Our Customers About Our Response

ElevatedNY is happy to welcome visitors and clients back to the Hippodrome building but, have made the following changes to address safety and health concerns related to the coronavirus.

BUILDING OPERATIONS

  • A one-way path has been added to the building’s main floor to reduce contact between visitors. The 43rd street entrance/exit may be closed at certain times. Follow posted signs for direction.
  • The building’s main entrance on 6th Avenue can be accessed hands-free and other doors will be open at certain high-traffic times.
  • The elevator system has been modified to reduce wait times and minimize the flow of individuals through the lobby.
  • The elevator capacity has been limited to 4 persons per elevator cab.
  • The filtration level in the heating and air conditioning systems has been increased to MERV-13 per industry best practices. And later this year, an air purification system that uses bi-polar air ionization technology to remove airborne illnesses such as COVID-19 will be installed.
