ElevatedNY is happy to welcome visitors and clients back to the Hippodrome building, but have made the following changes to address health and safety concerns. For all business owners planning to return to the building we recommend you also review the guidelines from New York State for tenants in office buildings and share them with your team.


A one-way path has been added to the building’s main floor to reduce contact between visitors. The 43rd St. entrance/exit may be closed at certain times. Follow posted signs for direction.

The building’s main entrance on 6th Ave. can be accessed hands-free and other doors will be open at certain high-traffic times.

The elevator system has been modified to reduce wait times and minimize the flow of individuals through the lobby.

The elevator capacity has been limited to 4 persons per elevator cab.

The filtration level in the heating and air conditioning systems has been increased to MERV-13 per industry best practices. We also have installed a new HVAC air purification system, which uses bi-polar air ionization technology to neutralize viruses and contaminants in the air and on surfaces.


All building visitors, tenants, clients and employees are required to abide by CDC recommended guidelines including the wearing of facemasks and social distancing or they will not be allowed in the building. Deliveries and vendors will be subject to these guidelines as well.

Social distancing is required in all common areas on all of the ElevatedNY floors and in the building’s lobby. Please observe all markers/signs/stanchions to help promote social distancing and to direct foot traffic.

The 15th floor conference room will be limited to use by 15th and 18th floor tenants only.

We would like to request that all clients share updates with us about return dates and expected numbers of employees and visitors. Depending on volume we may stagger entry and exit times for optimum hallway safety.


Additional cleaning staff (wearing masks and gloves) will be present to wipe down high-touch areas, including shared doors, elevators, elevator touchpads, stairwells and reception desks using new, CDC-recommended cleaning products.

Common area cleanings will take place as often as hourly. All ElevatedNY offices will be cleaned daily. 4th floor day offices and conference rooms on all floors will be cleaned after every use.

Additional deep cleaning services are available upon request. Cleaning tenant spaces beyond the base building specification remains a tenant responsibility.


All visitors will be asked a series of health questions before being granted access to the building. Please notify guests before their arrival.

Employees of all tenants with a building ID will be expect to self-screen before arriving at 1120 Avenue of the Americas.

Please follow whatever additional policy your company lays out regarding illness or COVID-19 symptoms.

Please report any positive cases of COVID-19 among any ElevatedNY office tenant team members or those that have visited the building within the previous two weeks.
