Batman and Robin showed up. So did Spider-Man, Wonder Woman and enough witches, ghosts and enough talking animals to populate a Disney movie. Close to 600 Inwood-area kids and their parents descended on the Uptown location of WorkSpace Offices for our fourth annual Halloween Extravaganza on Oct. 30.
The candy-covered festivities, which were free and open to the public, included a live DJ, a costume parade, spooky face-painting, miniature golf, a treasure dig and Halloween-themed arts and crafts projects. For this public event, volunteers from local companies as well as all Edison Properties businesses were on-hand to help keep the kids on a sweet sugar high all afternoon.
The overall feeling was one of delirious pandemonium. But don’t take our word for it; check out the photos.
