WorkSpace Offices Brings Halloween Fun to Kids in Upper Manhattan!
Pint-sized ghosts, goblins, witches and ghouls are expected to descend upon Manhattan’s Inwood neighborhood Oct. 30 as local businesses WorkSpace Offices, Manhattan Mini Storage and Edison ParkFast host their fourth annual Halloween Extravaganza.
The event, which includes a costume parade, spooky face-painting, games, contests and loads of candy, has grown in popularity every year that it’s been held. This year, over 400 trick-or-treaters and their parents are expected, along with several elected officials, including New York State Senator Adriano Espaillat (D-Upper Manhattan/Bronx) and New York City Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez (D-Inwood). In addition, the Business Development Committee of Community Board 12 will serve as co-host.
“This is one of our favorite times of year,” says Stacy Stuart, Executive Vice President of Marketing and HR for Edison Properties, the parent company of the event’s corporate sponsors. “Seeing all the kids in their costumes just having a blast – it’s so much fun for everyone, including all the volunteers from our businesses. And it’s a chance to give back to the community and say thanks for being such good neighbors to us up in Inwood.”
The Halloween Extravaganza will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the hallways of WorkSpace Offices, located at 5030 Broadway, in Inwood, from 3:30 to 5:30pm. All children 12 and under and their families are invited, free of charge.
